A different kind of attention.

Most of our dogs are pack dogs. Some aren't yet. Some have temporary medical or behavioral reasons for solo time. Some just need a quiet hour with one trusted person. Private walks are for those moments. One handler, one dog, on your schedule.

Private walks are available on a limited basis, with priority going to current pack members. We're often at capacity. If you're not currently a member, joining the waitlist is the right move.

Are the dogs really off-leash on the trail?

Yes, where the terrain and the dog allow it. We assess recall before any dog goes off-leash, and we keep dogs leashed in any spot where another hiker or on-leash dog might be uncomfortable. Recall etiquette is part of how we train the pack.

How big is the pack?

Small. Sized to temperament and the day, not a fixed number. The point isn't headcount, it's composition

What if my dog has never hiked before?

Most of our intake hasn't. We start in a smaller, lower-energy pack on shorter routes, build confidence, then graduate them into the regular rotation.Most of our intake hasn't. Which trails do you run?

Will Rogers, Sullivan Canyon, Mandeville, Topanga, the Backbone Trail, sections of the Santa Monicas most walkers don't bother with. We share the trail in your daily update.

What if my dog has reactivity or pack anxiety?

Tell us at the meet-and-greet. We work with both, slowly. Some dogs need three months of small-pack work before joining the full pack, and that's fine. Some dogs aren't pack dogs, and we'll tell you that too.
